I've been getting this message for the last month or so when I try to log on to the forum. Don't know if its a problem, I can get around it, but I really don't like random messages like this.

"This server could not prove that it is http://www.luthiersforum.com; its security certificate expired 16 days ago. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection. Your computer's clock is currently set to Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Does that look right? If not, you should correct your system's clock and then refresh this page."

ps - my computer's clock is correct.

pps - Windows 10, Edge, nothing unusual.

A hundred views, no replies. I guess no one else has seen this, I won't worry about it.

Your warning appears to be correct and it was mentioned not long ago in another thread -

Firefox browser used to be strict about expired certs but doesn't seem to be as I log in every day w/o issue.

It is something Lance will have to fix.

There may be a security setting in Edge to ignore expired certs but I'm not familiar with Edge.

For Edge you might get a notification or just see this in the address bar. Depends on the policies set in the browser.



Yes, the cert has to be updated by Lance.
